Linda Farrow? Know her? Im sure if I show you a image of Gaga in her Mickey Glass's you might? Or Jeremy Scotts runway you might have an idea? Shes the talent behind the shades that we are all so familiar with. Having collabarated with some of the best designers in the world - Dries Van Noten, Jeremy Scott, Henrey Holland, Matthew Williamson, Agent Provocateur and Yohji Yamamoto being a few! Impressive CV right. Also with her own single lines - Vintage an Luxe, her creations are beyond belif, no wonder designers want to team up with her to create the statement shades. Theres not one pair of sunnies on there that dosnt appeal to at least someone, theres something for everyone, from wayfers styles to huge oversized Posh style ones, green lensed to Flintstone inspired to hands covering the eyes to aviators. Whats suprised me is that the high streets havent made copies of these, they would be such a hit, everyone wants the best sunglasses thats why we shell out hundreds for them. How about making them a bit more quirky and costume? You cant go wrong.
Farrows work is so unbeleivable understated its unreal, I dont know many people who know her work untill you say Mickey glass's. They were her big break and im hopeing from now on she becomes more popular as she deserves it, the more teaming up the more im sure she will become known to everyone, not just fashion lovers.

We have all seen Katy in her amazingly quirky peices, The Blonds, Jean Charles de Castlebajac, Manish Arora, Betsey Johnson, the list is endless, but what about accessories? The sweet, and by sweet I mean literally, little peices that finish her look off? ROMEiNG PANDA, a small American jewlery company have created a few looks ut of gummy bears! Not real of course, but cute enough to be found on one, two or a three fingerd ring! They also come on earrings, necklaces, belts, broches and pins! TRUE STYLE iCONS, TRUE BEAUTYS.

I am amazed that somewere along the line, something, lord knows what, but somethings gone wrong with genes. It seems since we hit the 60's it all went pear shaped. Why do we not get true beauties anymore, yeh Katy Perrys fit, Kate Moss has a perfect face in terms of structure and Jennifer Aniston grows more and more amazing everyday, but we never have true classical looking beauties. Im talking Audrey Hepburn, Judy Garland, Grace Kelly, Marilyn Monroe! With their classical style, clean cuts, flattering shapes and femine hair styles, why have I been stuck with Katie Price in a terry towle tracksuit and Lady Gaga coverd in steak. Im not impressed. Ladies like Monroe, who have set a world wide trend, true women, have been let down I feel. I just wish we had more gracefull, traditional inspiring figures now days, you wouldnt catch Judy Garland dutty wining to Beyonce.

We have style icons of today, no one who is womenly, beautifull and actually pretty. Its a shame, fashion should always have an element of 'women-ley-ness'. And everyone fails to do that. KATY LOVES.. i LOVE..

One of my favorite designer labels in the world are The Blonds! There American based, of course they are though, no British folk sticks diomante Hello Kittys and syringes over a tiny corset and then get away with it. There work is a form of art, not just because its all inovation and avante garde, but its literally 3D art that you can touch and feel. The Blonds arnt well known by your everyday 'fashion lover' or even your everyday 'blogger' who should know better but in the USA and the world of celebrities I dont know anyone who hasnt worn them. From Gaga (unfortunatly) too Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Sarah Jessica Parker, Dita Von Teese, Britany and Christina.I can only imagine there extremly pricey, just because of all of the 3D matirials used on creating them, not too mention the fact that there shooting up in demand. Its a mix of glamour, fetish, trash and class, and I think it takes one hell of a designer to succsessfuly design something with all of those elements in and still come out looking to aestheticaly beautifull.

One person who stuck out to me, who basically lives in them, is Katy Perry. Imagine how fit she is? Now imagine her in a studded corset or burlesque outfit. She looks amazing in there peices, I think shes their perfect client. A little bit experimental, statement maker, attention seeker. I ant people to love this brand, i think its completed understated! My favorite is her California Girls dress or her long pastel shade dress shes wearing when sitting on a banana presenting the MTV awards I think. I couldnt really think of a better person to show of their art. Im glad its her, a real American beauty with a great body. You cant see Subo in a star studded onsie with mesh and zippers, well I hope you cant.
